View from Highway 49
This is the view of the property looking west from Highway 49. As you can see, there is little room to access this property with a vehicle or to park it once there. This is one of the improvement goals we have for this property.
Pine Area Looking West
This 8 acre property was originally developed as a pine plantation. Most of the trees on this property are pines. As you can see, there are some open areas among the trees.
Pine Area Looking East
This view of the pine area is looking back towards Highway 49. Notice the number of small pines beginning to grow.
Hardwood Area
Towards the western edge of the property you will find a mixture of hardwoods among the pines. About 100 yards beyond this location is a large DNR forest.
Invasive Species
On the northern edge of the property, we are beginning to see some invasive species move into the area. We have noticed mostly Buckthorn and Honeysuckle plants at this time.
More Invasive Species
This is another look at the invasive species moving into the property. One of the first things we want to work on related to this property is controlling these plants.
