What does the Thunderbird Booster Club do?
The Thunderbird Booster Club is committed to supporting co-curricular activities in the Iola-Scandinavia School District.
So what does that mean?
We're a group of parents, teachers, and community members who want to make sure the kids in our district have as many opportunities as possible to have great experiences. The reality of our world, however, is that great experiences often cost money. In order to ensure access to as many opportunities and experiences as possible, we raise funds to help clubs, teams, organizations, and individuals cover the costs of these opportunities. In the past five years, the Thunderbird Booster Club has given over $50,000 to support student activities. Our funds are acquired through membership fees, running concession stands, and organizing other fundraising events. We are always looking for new members and encourage you to join today at whatever level works for you! Members are also encouraged to attend our monthly meetings and help plan and implement our activities and fundraising efforts!
Monthly meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:15pm in the middle school conference room!
