Dear Iola-Scandinavia School District Families and Community Members,
I am writing to inform you of an important leadership transition within our district and to share our plans moving forward.
Our Elementary Principal, Mrs. Stacey Wester, has accepted a position as Superintendent with another school district. While we are sad to see her leave our Iola-Scandinavia family, we are incredibly proud of her professional growth and this well-deserved advancement.
During her tenure with us, Mrs. Wester has been a dedicated advocate for our elementary students, working tirelessly to create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive. Her commitment to educational excellence, strong relationships with families, and collaborative leadership style have made a lasting impact on our elementary school community.
I want to assure you that we are actively working to ensure a smooth transition for our elementary students and families. We have immediately begun the search process for a new Elementary Principal and are committed to having a qualified leader in place by August 15th.
Change can be challenging, but it also brings opportunities for growth and fresh perspectives. We are confident that we will find an exceptional leader who shares our commitment to providing the best possible education for our elementary students.
Our elementary teachers and support staff remain dedicated to maintaining the high standards and nurturing environment that define our elementary school. They will continue to focus on what matters most: ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
