The Iola-Scandinavia School District will be using a new notification system this school year to send alerts regarding school closings, delays, early releases, etc. Notifications will be sent via text message, phone call, Live Feed message on the district website, push notification on the district mobile app plus Facebook and Twitter posts.
I-S School District parents/guardians and employees will be included in the text and phone call message using the contact information listed in Skyward. If you need to update your contact info please do so in Skyward Family Access or contact either school office.
Those wishing to be notified of cancellations/delays that are not parents/guardians of an I-S student or a district employee are encouraged to use any of the other means available to receive alerts. A test message using the new notification system will be sent in the coming days, so please download the app and like/subscribe to our social media accounts.
